Black Rock Wind Farm was approved, however the project was reduced to 23 turbines at a height of 590 ft. Thanks to all that helped to influence the reduction in size of the project.

PSC staff agree that the Commission should not grant a siting certificate to Black Rock Wind Farm
This is testimony of Public Service Commission staff submitted on 8/15/19:
Q. PLEASE SUMMARIZE STAFF’S RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE COMMISSON AT THIS TIME?
A. Due to the missing information cited above, Staff is unable to recommend the Commission grant a Siting Certificate

The Commissioners could still grant the Siting Certificate, so we need to FIGHT ON!
They don't seem to care that the BRWF turbines will be the tallest in the nation and will be too close to 302 homes. Keep sending in your protest letters. We need to tell the Commissioners that these turbines are too big for our mountain and too close to 302 homes.
